November 20, 2014
Early September I ran down to Midale, Saskatchewan to photograph my bff Kimberly and her husband Eric. They were expecting twins the beginning of November and we of course wanted to document the job well done by mama for cooking these little turkeys for 9 fabulous months.
Although this was a ridiculously crazy quick trip, we still managed to not only get our photo-shoot in but some time to chit chat as well. I arrived late on Thursday evening. Friday morning and mid afternoon we drove around Midale and area picking our locations for the evening shoot. And Saturday morning I headed back to Prince Albert as I had a session booked for Sunday morning. Phew, have I mentioned lately how fabulous 2014 was!
Kim and Eric had three fabulous wardrobe changes. And let me tell you this mama’s style was right on point. I absolutely loved everything they planned on their end. With so many amazing little locations near by we worked fast to get a few different theme ideas captured before the sun finally set. Our last location was in a field Kim and I came across while out for our drive.
It’s not to often I ask a almost 8 month pregnant client to walk through a deep ditch and climb through a barbwire fence but I’m sure glad that they were up for anything.
As I’m so proud of what we captured together. I know that these photos will be beautiful keepsakes for not only Kim and Eric but for their beautiful twins when they get older.
Enjoy a few photos from our session together….
