November 4, 2014 I threw my studio in my car and traveled down to Midale Saskatchewan to photograph my best friends beautiful new babies. Yes, she had twins! Gorgeous little Sybil and Handsome little Dane. Both spitting images of their parents. I know that’s always something that sounds so ridiculous. Like is it really that hard to believe that children look like the two people that created them?

These two TRULY are mini mom and dad.

It’s always so crazy to me to think that these little babies came out of another human; truly a miracle. Now I don’t want to get to crazy and deep in this post; but what a miracle it truly is to carry and develop these little ones for all mom’s out there. As tiny and precious as these little babes are I just couldn’t get over that my best friend had given birth to them. I guess because I’ve known her for almost 30 years this year. We’ve done absolutely everything in our lives together…I like to think I know her better then I know any other human! And to think that we are at this point in our lives where she is procreating. It’s truly a reflection of our friendship. That I have had the pleasure of being around or at least hearing about all her fabulous milestones in her life. You often hear when people grow up, move out of their parents homes, they grow apart in the time that they are becoming their own person. BUT, this didn’t happen and I really can’t see it ever happening to us. She is my person. My best friend, the one I tell everything to. She is my rock in hard times and she is my support. She has been my best friend for 29 and a half years and I couldn’t be happier for her as she becomes a mom. Eric and Kim deserve the best in their lives and these babies are a true testament to just that. Enjoy a few photos of their gorgeous little minis…
