Jeff and I met up with the Bergen family on a warm mid September evening. Chelsie and her husband Matt (and their two boys) have a place up at Candle near Minowukaw and when their inquiry came in they explained how excited they were to capture a few images at their favorite beach. And I was too! I had never been to that side of Candle Lake.

And I love traveling to new places to capture new locations… keeping things new and fresh. With what started out to be a overcast cloudy drive up, once we had arrived the clouds cleared off and left us with bright, warm clear light.

The boys were a little shy at the start, but I knew after a few snaps they would warm up to the camera. They are seriously just the cutest little guys! When they smile their faces just light up; as you’ll see below. Their little layered beach shirts with their rolled up jeans topped it all off for me.
