Each wedding day I go into the day with a plan… Now my plans typically stray a bit here and there, with each wedding day (although similar timelines each day is always totally unique to each couple). The friends and family, the vows, the decor and the way they customize their day is always true to their relationship. So although I put a plan in place to try and be prepared as possible I also need to be willing and ABLE to roll with whatever happens in the day.
For Jen and Mark although I knew I wanted to create a really dynamic group shot for them, unique to them; the final layout didn’t come to me until that morning when the guys were getting ready and asked me to do some photos on the frozen lake with their skates. (I mean of course! Great idea fellas) And then Jen, whips out these amazing shawls for the ladies and matching Canada gloves for everyone! I mean COME ON!! ????
PS I LOVE when the fellas are willing participants to the photos of the day. – And I must say Jen and Mark’s party were absolutely fantastic to work with and such a fabulous group to spend the day with! To make a long story short, this was the ABSOLUTE best way to end my 2018 wedding season. I loved every minute freezing my fingers, crawling on the frozen lake to get this shot and working with this amazing crew. Thank you to the newly Mr. and Mrs. Young for trusting me with their day, their memories and allowing me into their group of friends; As that’s how they treated me, like a friend/family that they had known for years. I went home with a full heart! Thank you!!
