The first weekend in May I met up with Andrew & Colleen for their engagement session. They said they weren’t picky on the locations and Colleen was looking forward to a new hair appointment and a possible shopping spree to get ready for their session.

In the initial planning we were to include their pets but we settled on a mini photo walk through downtown Prince Albert and a field to finish up.

When couples are in front of the lens it truly is a look into their life as a unit. As straight away Colleen was her bubbly happy self. Her outgoing personality helped to pull some giggles out of Andrew as he wasn’t to sure he truly wanted to be in front of the camera. But like many couples I’ve photographed before he was more then willing to do it for the woman he loves.

The little bit of rain we received in route to our second location gave us a beautiful Saskatchewan sky to finish up. These two will be married on New Years Eve this year and I couldn’t be more excited to be photographing them. They are the nicest, most genuine people and I’m so lucky that they chose me.
