It’s always a pleasure to get together with these gals, (the teachers/owners) from Bold Dance Productions in Prince Albert. This year we opted do some headshots in MY studio; as opposed to team photo day.
I wanted to do some high impact, eye catching lighting for these particular headshots. With a dance studio I figured the photos shouldn’t be the “typical” headshots. So I setup a 5 light setup. (2) purple gels for the backdrop, (1) hair light camera right, (1) rim light camera left and (1) beauty dish overhead. With a reflector below to fill in the under neck shadows slightly. The ladies were awesome as always to work with. We cheered each other on in front of lense and congratulated each other on what was captured mid shoot. It was honestly, just a fun girls day out at the studio.
