Everyone, Meet Shantel Kalika! Cornerstone Insurance Account Executive by day, and bad ass Pro Truck driver by night. Shantel drives for Busch Racing, and is the 2016 Pro Truck Champion. She has a fabulous support system of friends and family that are right there cheering her on and doing what they can race side to help her achieve her goals.
For this shoot Shantel and I wanted to execute some professional headshots and full length shots for the advertising needed throughout the season. (A little back story. I’ve had the pleasure of shooting Shantel’s engagement photos and wedding photos. I’ve photographed her business portraits which you may have seen her portraits wrapped on a taxi van driving around Prince Albert. And now I was given the absolute pleasure of creating some dynamic headshots for her racing.)
Shantel and I were like two chatty cathy’s who hadn’t seen each other for awhile in the studio. We had a great time together putting together these photos, and I can’t express how ecstatic I was when Shantel messaged me regarding the shoot. I look forward to working with her again.. as I have another little project up my sleeve. 🙂
