The Bibby’s were married on a Friday in November in Prince Albert Saskatchewan. This curling loving family embraced the sport not only as their favourite activity in the winter to watch and play but they also included it in many of their wedding details. In-fact when I showed up at the groom’s mom’s home to photograph the fellas getting ready I didn’t have to try hard to include the sport in the details of the photos. Turns our Brad’s mom also loves the sport and most of her living room decor includes rings and curling rocks.
You’ll notice in their reception photos that they opted for circular tables and placed the head table in the middle of the room (as opposed to the head-table at the front of the room). I absolutely LOVED this idea and would recommend it to anyone! Not only did it include their guests more in their reception but it also gave me ample opportunity for different angles and shots that normally I don’t have the angle to take.
